Bloomberg has backed up rumors from the past few months and says that Apple’s fifth-generation iPhone will debut in September and feature the dual core A5 system on a chip found in the iPad 2. The report also says that the “iPhone 5” will feature an 8MP camera, up from the 5 megapixels in the iPhone 4. The new phone is also said to look like the iPhone 4 – backing up past reports and squashing this morning’s rumors....

MacRumors is reporting that Apple is readying Black MacBook Airs in its next refresh. Remember that when we first broke the news of a MacBook Air way back in 2007 (without Optical drives), we’d been told there was a black version. That information was later verified with the Ebay auction selling a prototype MacBook Air with a Black aluminum shell (pictured above, another shot below). The Evening Standard is reporting that Apple is in talks to buy the Cambridge UK based processor designer, ARM for $8 billion. That is less than one fifth of Apple’s cash and short term holdings of over $40 Billion. ARM’s stock price was up 8.1 points on the news. Apple uses ARM chips in iPods, iPhones and its new A4 chips inside its iPad....
