Fernando Melo, a senior producer on the upcoming Dragon Age game at BioWare’s Edmonton, Alberta studio, has left the developer after twelve years. He announced his departure just one day after Ben Irving, a lead producer on Anthem at BioWare’s Austin, Texas studio, also revealed that he was leaving the company. While both senior staff members say their split with the studio is amicable, the news is nonetheless another blow to the venerable company, whose reputation has taken quite a hit in recent years....

Justice Society of America’s Cyclone is currently being cast to appear in Warner Bros.’ upcoming Black Adam movie. Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has been attached to the DC Extended Universe role of Black Adam since 2007, before the ongoing wave of superhero films. Once the DCEU began, the Black Adam character was rumored to have cameo appearances in Shazam! and The Suicide Squad. Apple is apparently readying a new under-display integrated Touch ID fingerprint sensor “as early as its 2020 iPhones” next fall, according to a report today from Bloomberg. The report says it would be an addition to the existing Face ID authentication and unlock system, allowing users to authenticate with either fingerprint or face biometrics. The publication says the feature may slip to 2021. This echoes a timeframe suggested by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who said Apple would launch an iPhone with both Touch ID and Face ID in 2021....
