The latest MCU movie will officially debut Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, the franchise’s first female headline superhero, before she eventually joins the rest of the heroes in Avengers: Endgame next month. Days before her origin film hits theaters, it gets a marketing boost by getting the seal of approval from the Kardahshian-Jenner matriarch. Marvel Studios is taking its fans back in time, with Captain Marvel being set in 1995....

ChinaFile has pieced together an interactive map (full-screen) of Apple’s world-wide product component suppliers (via PED/Fortune). The map, which is based on Apple’s publicly available suppliers list, features points for each individual supplier. It is interesting to see the number of suppliers per region with complete context. Unsurprisingly, you will find the biggest numbers in Asia, the continent in which most of Apple’s mass production occurs. Apple CEO Tim Cook previously announced that Apple will begin producing one of its existing Mac lines in the United States....

Analysts say that the official launch of the iPhone on China Mobile could lead to subsidy wars as Chinese carriers compete to attract buyers. The predictions, quoted by Business Insider, follow price cuts by rival carriers China Unicom and China Telecom as China Mobile reports 1.2 million pre-orders. China Mobile is currently offering the iPhone 5s free with a 24-month contract costing the equivalent of $98 a month. A 30-month contract on China Unicom costs $63 a month....

Joining this Chinese retailer is yet another retailer from the same nation, which even tells the exact price that the Cupertino will charge for its new iPhones. If the numbers are to be believed, the entry level 4.7-inch iPhone will set you back by 5288 Yuan ($860), whereas, the 32GB is priced at around $999, while the 64GB variant costs roughly $1120. It’s probably worth noting that the China Mobile’s page doesn’t actually say iPhone 6 anywhere, but it does mention 4G and alongside an Apple....

A new TV spot for Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) reveals a comic-accurate costume for Huntress. Birds of Prey will be the next film to be released in the DC Extended Universe, focusing on Harley Quinn and the villain Black Mask. The movie will be Margot Robbie’s second time playing Quinn, but she will have the help of a few more famous vigilantes. Apart from Harley Quinn and Black Mask (Ewan McGregor), Huntress is probably the most well-known comic book character that will be featured in Birds of Prey....

The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus don’t even hit store shelves until this Friday, September 16th, but the first official unboxing in the wild are already popping up online early. Photos shared on social media in Asia show believable images from someone who claims to be an Apple dealer unboxing and holding the unreleased iPhone models in public. The smaller model appears to be the glossy Jet Black iPhone 7 while the larger model looks like the matte Black iPhone 7 Plus....
