Caitlyn Jenner and Sophia Hutchins were never together romantically, despite speculation. The two have been raising eyebrows for years now as they have always said that their relationship was a close bond.
Most people knew Jenner as an Olympian and Wheaties box cover model. Jenner then came out as transgender back in April of 2015. During a 2017 interview with Diane Sawyer, which aired on 20/20, Jenner confirmed that she had undergone gender reassignment surgery. The activist did point out that she always felt like a woman; the surgery had just enhanced that. She wanted to express that choosing to have the surgery never defined who she was as a human being, and Jenner admitted that after 65 years as a man, it took some time to get used to being Caitlyn. Before Jenner completed her reassignment surgery, she was married to Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ Kris Jenner, sharing custody of their children, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner. The Olympic gold medalist was also married to actress Christie Crownover, with whom she has two children - Burt Jenner and Cassandra Marino. Jenner also has two more sons, Brendon Jenner and Brody Jenner.
Even though Jenner and Hutchins share a home and often accompany one another to events, the two state that they only have a platonic relationship. Now, Hutchins has decided to speak out about her business partner, saying that she was never romantically involved with Jenner. In an interview with The New York Times, the 23-year-old said that it is silly that they have sparked dating rumors, even if they share a home in Malibu, California. The entrepreneur said that she believes that the tabloids made a big deal out of their relationship for the simple fact that neither she nor Jenner were addressing their status.
Hutchins continued to say that she never felt a need to address her personal life because it’s no one’s business but her own. In fact, she was shocked that anyone would be interested in her sex life. Hutchins then revealed that she is dating a 30-year-old Harvard graduate who works on Wall Street, offering solid proof once and for all that she and Jenner aren’t together.
Jenner and Hutchins’ friendship bloomed when Hutchins noticed that Jenner had no management representation after divorcing Kris Jenner. She also noticed that, because of this Jenner, was being taken advantage of and was on the brink of becoming broke. Jenner has always referred to Hutchins as her best friend and confidant, saying she would be lost without her. The two may seem like an unlikely pair, but they prove that friendships can be forged in almost any circumstance.
