There are a lot of audio mixers and DJ controllers on the market specifically for iPad and iPhone users, but so far most require you to run cables or dock your device in a rather large unit. The latest option that we got a chance to try during CES today is Braven’s new Fuse Bluetooth audio mixer, a lightweight wireless option that lets you connect two audio sources and your output all through Bluetooth:
BRAVEN unveils the BRAVEN Fuse, a wireless Bluetooth® portable audio mixer that fades and mixes multiple audio streams for mashup sessions on-the-go. Designed to liven any gathering, the BRAVEN Fuse allows users to create custom tracks and splice songs between multiple devices.
As for what’s included on the mixer, you’ll find volume, low, mid, and high tuners for each audio source; source level equalizer, headphone-out switch to listen between audio sources, and a cross fader for music mash-up.
You’ll also be able to hard wire into existing audio setups, but the Fuse will let you take advantage of your current devices and Bluetooth speakers for a quick and easy DJ setup at home or on-the-go.
The mixer will give you 12 hours on a single charge of its 1,200 mAh rechargeable battery and comes in at less than 5-inches long.
It will sell for $99.99 when it launches in Q2 2015.
